Brrrr....

I badly need to upload recent pictures from our camera to the computer so I can use them in the blog. I made a resolution to get back to daily blogging, How hard can that be?? 10 minutes or so?? I was so enthused at the beginning, but then things got kinda crazy. Since I've used almost all my pics that are online, I'll just throw one I took of a spiderweb on our deck, on a misty morning. It is always amazing to me that there are spiderwebs to be seen everywhere on a misty day. You don't see them much on a regular day.
Right now we are freezing. A week ago it was 82 outside, and right now it's about 33. And snowing. But the first week or so of April in Ohio is always "iffy". Just like it's usually mild on Scott's birthday on Feb. 18th each year.
I belong to a group on MSN that has to do with birds. And so many of the people have amazing bird rooms and actual flights. The most interesting ones are the people that live in Florida. Oh MY. I would love to have a place where my parrots can fly free. We have discussed putting a really large Macaw type cage out on the deck, but have been leery of bees and wasps. And of course, our Sprint tower across the street has 2 beautiful red tailed hawks that fly over to it and spend almost every day there. They don't come in the yard. We do have a resident Cooper's hawk that visits my outside feeders once in a while. So - we'll just keeping talking about it........ :-)
Today I'm getting ready to clean out my utility room. How exciting is that?? It has a pantry in it, and I'll bet a few of the things on the shelf have expired. Soups and stuff. So, I'm going to get moving on that, and while I'm working, try to think up something more interesting for posts besides housecleaning.

April!!

Here's a picture of no one. However, it's a pic of a really neat quilt that Aunt Bobbie made for me, and that is now owned by Brad. He carries it to things like tail-gating. Aunt Bobbie is very talented with sewing, music, and the kind of things that require dexterity and talent, which I am sadly lacking. Anyhow, just wanted to do a super-quick blog, to show Miss Jean how it works. She's standing here next to me, getting some "computer school". Maybe we'll set her up with a blog of her own.
I am a terrible blogger. I have done about 3 blogs since the first of the year, and it's mainly because I've gotten lazy. Tune in tomorrow, and maybe I'll have more to say. I think Miss Jean is getting tired of computer school, and we're going to get a bowl of ice cream.
More later ! !
